Alma Seimens

Member of the Board

Alma’s leadership in local, national, and international endeavours has touched people through the gift of music and attentive teaching. Alma led the YWAM music performance team at the 1972 Olympics in West Germany. Nationally, Alma serves as an advisor for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.  At the local level, Alma serves on the Chamber of Commerce in her hometown of Coaldale, AB.

At an early age with her brother as singing coach, Alma Siemens joined the family band and recorded a 78-rpm record. She continued to develop her musical talent in various ensembles and choirs before joining the staff at RSA, where participating in the music program was a foregone conclusion! In her spare time, Alma volunteers with seniors, singing and playing the accordion.

With a Diploma from Berean Bible College and a B.Ed. from the University of Lethbridge, Alma was a member of the inaugural team of teachers at Rosebud School of the Arts. More recently, Alma became a certified massage therapist through Lethbridge College. Her lifetime friendships with students embody the heart of Rosebud Fellowship.
